Musiker (piano, hammondorgel), orkesterledare, textförfattare och radioman. Född i Stockholm. Började sin bana som musiker hos 
Anställdes på Radiotjänst 1947 som programredaktör på musikavdelningen, blev 1957 chef för musiksektionen och 1962 chef för dess bandsektion. Använde ibland pseudonymen R. Willard. Lyckades med konststycket att spela på tegelpannor!! Dog bara två dagar efter att han gått i pension från Radiotjänst!
