Musiker (violin, saxofon) och orkesterledare. Född i Helsingborg. Lärde sig spela violin och saxofon och blev violinist i Helsingborgs symfoniorkester samtidigt som han hade annat arbete. Blev så yrkesmusiker 1933 då han började spela i John Eeks orkester och fick också violin-lektioner av professor Peder Möller i Köpenhamn. Blev därefter engagerad av 
Bildade sin första egna orkester 1936 och var sedan verksam i Göteborg. I hans orkester har bl.a. Bengt Arne Wallin och Eje Thelin spelat. Orkestern spelade bl.a. på Wauxhall 1936 - 42 och Rotundan på Liseberg 1944 - 59. Man hade ingen fast vokalist utan engagerade gästvokalister. Orkestern skivdebuterade 1955 och han var en av dem som upptäckte
